Biden hopes for further cooperation with Erdogan within NATO

"I congratulate Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election. I look forward to further cooperation as NATO allies in the areas of bilateral policy and common global challenges," Biden wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, the head of the Central Election Commission of Turkey, Ahmet Yener, announced the victory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the second round of the presidential election.
