Biden hopes for further cooperation with Erdogan within NATO

Earlier, the head of the Central Election Commission of Turkey, Ahmet Yener, announced the victory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the second round of the presidential election.

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his Turkish counterpart on his re-election as head of Turkey. In the telegram, the Russian leader called Erdogan a friend and noted that Moscow appreciates the contribution of the Turkish president to strengthening Russian-Turkish relations.
