Of the six shot put in the Diamond League final, Fanny Roos had the weakest personal record - despite that, the Swede took third place. - Great effort by Fanny, who had several of these girls in front of her if you look at personal best, says SVT Sports expert Alhaji Jeng.

Fanny Roo's Swedish record of 19.34, which she set in mid-June, was a long way from the competitors' longest shocks.

But the Swede's 18.75 in the first round of the Diamond League final in Zurich was enough for a third place.

Only Maggie Ewen, USA, and Auriol Dongmo, Portugal, bumped better.

The American won the final after a shock of 19.41, just six centimeters from her personal best.
