The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after a girl from a tourist group died during a snow mass in the area of ​​the Imandra station in the Murmansk region.


A case was initiated under Art.

238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers, resulting in the death of a person by negligence), RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a minor born in 2008 found himself under the snow after an avalanche in the Khibiny in the Murmansk region.

Later it became known that the girl had died.
