Ibrahim Al Jarwan, a member of the Arab Federation for Space and Astronomy, expected that the blessed month of Ramadan will come on Friday, April 24th, while fasting hours in his first days will be 14 hours and 25 minutes.

Al-Jarwan told Al-Emarat Al-Youm: “The crescent of Ramadan 1441 is born on Thursday, April 23, at 06:26, and the crescent will be at sunset at a height of three degrees above the western horizon, and it will set 20 minutes after sunset.” He added that the conditions of visual vision are improving in the western regions of the Arabian Peninsula, and the opportunity to monitor it is to be Friday, April 24, the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1441.

He pointed out that the longest days of fasting in the month of Ramadan will be the last day of it, as the length of the fasting period will reach the limits of 14 hours and 57 minutes, and the shortest days will be its first days and the length of the fasting period will be 14 hours and 25 minutes.

Al-Jarwan expected that the moon of the month of Shawwal 1441 will be born on Friday, May 22nd next, at 21:39, i.e. after sunset, and it will be seen on Saturday evening, May 24th, on the morning of Shawwal.
