11.30pm Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg is ahead in the Caucus in Iowa with 26.9% of the vote. Scrutinize the cards of 62% of the districts of the state. The former mayor of South Bend, Indiana is followed by Bernie Sanders at 25.1%, Elizabeth Warren third with 18.3% and Joe Biden fourth with 15.6%. On June 16, 2015 Buttigieg openly declared his homosexuality. Three years later he married his partner Chasten Glezman.
