The Saudi Al-Itifaq Football Club announced today, Wednesday, the contract of the left back, Hussein Halawani, 24, to represent the first football team from the next season until 2023 in a free transfer deal.

Halawani included in the Sunni categories in Al-Ittihad club until the first team, after which he fought multiple professional experiences in the clubs of Najran, Al-Batin, Al-Orouba and Al-Ta’i, and he also contributed with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's youth team in achieving the Gulf Cup and Arab Cup championships.

For his part, Al-Ittifaq club board member and the club’s professional manager, Mohammed Al-Dalan, confirmed to the club’s official website that the club’s management is continuing its intensive work to support the soccer team during the next season according to its strategy to create a distinguished youth team capable of achieving the desired goals.

"We ended the contract with Esperance striker Hassan al-Salis for a period of 5 years, alongside left-back Hussein Halawani until 2023, and efforts will continue to support the team in accordance with the technical vision," Al-Daalan said.

On the other hand, Halawani expressed his happiness by signing his transfer contract to represent the agreement starting from the next season, stressing that wearing an emblem of an ancient club like the agreement is a new challenge that requires him to work diligently, and he will endeavor with all he has to contribute to the happiness of the fans of Fares Dahna.
