Nicklas Rahm has HV71 as the parent club and made 232 matches in the HV71 jersey. Since 2016 he has been assistant coach at the club after returning from a win in Växjö.

- A great honor and an exciting challenge. I have grown up with HV71 and to gain the confidence to become head coach of course feels great. I am driven by passion and commitment in my leadership and this is something I will continue with as a head coach, says Nicklas Rahm.

Acquires Nyman

It is also clear that Stefan Nyman will become a new assistant coach. Nyman comes most recently from Lugano and he has previously trained Djurgården, Malmö and Södertälje. In HV71 he will focus on the defensive game and the slopes.

- I got a good feeling for HV71 and the presentation that was presented to me. HV71 always has the ambition to win and that appeals to me. I like working with people and are passionate about development and I look forward to doing that at the club, ”says Stefan Nyman.

In addition to Nicklas Rahm and Stefan Nyman, goalkeeper coach William Rahm has signed a new contract. So did sports manager Johan Hult.
