Nagano Ueda Overflowing dangerous water level at Chikuma River Oct. 18 18:41
According to Nagano Prefecture and the Meteorological Observatory, the water level at the Ikuta Water Level Observatory in Ueda City, upstream of the Chikuma River, exceeded the “flooding dangerous water level” at around 5:40 pm, where the risk of flooding was very high.
In Ueda City and Sakagusuku Town, the prefecture and meteorological observatories are calling for strict alerts by issuing "inundation risk information" as rivers may be flooded due to levee breaks and so on.
