Nagano Chikuma River to flooding dangerous water level October 12, 16:02
According to Nagano Prefecture, at the Shionada Water Level Observatory and the Shimogoe Water Level Observatory in Saku City, upstream of the Chikuma River, the risk of flooding exceeded the extremely high flood risk level at around 3:10 pm.
In Saku City, Komoro City, Tomi City, and Ueda City, the prefecture and meteorological observatories are calling for strict alerts by issuing “inundation risk information” because rivers may be flooded and flooded due to levee breaks.
