“Serbia should have no doubt that its future is in the European Union and nowhere else. This is a strategic choice that is important to reaffirm,” Macron said.
At the same time, the French leader emphasized that “no vicissitudes” should make Serbia “doubt” this path.
“It is important that Serbia continues to implement this choice, in particular by more closely aligning our foreign policy decisions,” Macron added.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned of difficult challenges facing the republic.
Vucic also stated that Serbia is under pressure because of military neutrality and relations with Russia.
