“The main reason: the lack of sufficient generating capacity in the system to cover consumption in certain regions of the country,” the message says.

It is clarified that restrictions also apply in the Kharkov region and Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk region. 

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal previously called the situation with energy supply in a number of regions of the country difficult after damage to energy facilities.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the army launched a strike at night with high-precision weapons, including aeroballistic hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, on energy facilities in Ukraine.
