“We are recording the creation of channels supposedly announcing new terrorist attacks. Such channels are created to intimidate the population. Over the past two days, access to 11 such channels has been limited,” RIA Novosti quotes the department as saying.

Previously, experts interviewed commented on the proposal of the editor-in-chief of RT and MIA Rossiya Segodnya, Margarita Simonyan, to introduce responsibility for participating in anti-Russian, terrorist chats and subscribing to them.

Civil and international law specialist Maria Yarmush emphasized that if legislation already makes it possible to do this, law enforcement practice should be established.
