Thousands of Jordanians demonstrated - yesterday evening, Wednesday - in solidarity with the Gaza Strip in the vicinity of the Israeli embassy west of Amman for the fourth day in a row, while Moroccan cities - including Casablanca - witnessed marches and night vigils after Tarawih prayers in support of Gaza.

The demonstrators in Jordan are demanding the severing of relations between Amman and Tel Aviv, and raising the level of the Jordanian position to the point of influence to prevent the continuation of the war on Gaza.

The protest was organized in the square opposite the Kalouti Mosque in the Rabieh area, and hundreds of meters away from the headquarters of the Israeli Embassy in the Kingdom.

A number of demonstrators tried to reach the Israeli embassy, but the gendarmerie forces prevented them and imposed an intense security cordon at the entrances and exits of the embassy.

The participants cheered for the Palestinian resistance and raised banners denouncing the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Moroccan demonstrations

In Morocco, thousands of citizens participated in night marches after Tarawih prayers in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca (west) and Marrakesh and Meknes (north) in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which is exposed to a devastating Israeli war.

The demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the Israeli war and the crimes committed against civilians in Gaza.

The demonstrators who raised Palestinian flags also called for lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip and stopping the starvation of its residents. At the same time, they denounced the path of normalization.

They chanted slogans including, “The door of Al-Aqsa is made of iron, and only the martyr will open it,” “The door of Al-Aqsa is in the depths, and only the revolutionaries will open it,” and “The people of Al-Aqsa, walk, walk... until victory and liberation.”

On a daily basis, many Moroccan cities, including the capital, Rabat, are witnessing massive demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and demanding an end to the war on Gaza and the entry of sufficient humanitarian aid.

Copenhagen demonstration

In Europe, the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, witnessed a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemnation of the Israeli war on Gaza.

The demonstrators roamed the streets of Copenhagen, carrying slogans demanding an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, the lifting of the siege on the Strip, and the delivery of humanitarian aid there.

In violation of international laws, Israel restricts the entry of aid into Gaza, especially through land crossings, which has led to a scarcity of food, medicine and fuel supplies in the Strip, which it has besieged for 17 years, according to the United Nations.

The Israeli war on Gaza left tens of thousands of civilian casualties, most of them children and women, and massive destruction of infrastructure and property, in addition to a famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

Israel continues this war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council, last Monday, demanding an immediate ceasefire during the month of Ramadan, and also despite its first appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
