Employees of the Investigative Committee, during the investigation of the criminal case of a terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, established a connection between the perpetrators of the terrorist attack and Ukrainian nationalists. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia following an operational meeting, during which Alexander Bastrykin heard the report of the investigative team.

“The initial results of the investigation fully confirm the planned nature of the terrorists’ actions, careful preparation and financial support from the organizers of the crime. As a result of working with detained terrorists, studying the technical devices seized from them, and analyzing information about financial transactions, evidence of their connection with Ukrainian nationalists was obtained,” the statement says.

According to the department, there are confirmed facts that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack received significant amounts of money and cryptocurrency from Ukraine, which were used in preparing the crime.

In addition, another suspect involved in a terrorist financing scheme was identified and detained.

“The investigation will petition the court to select a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to him,” the Investigative Committee concluded.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, March 28, Rosfinmonitoring added the four perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall to the list of terrorists and extremists. We are talking about natives of Tajikistan Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Muhammadsobir Fayzov and Saidakrami Rachabalizode. By decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow they were taken into custody until May 22.

Let us remind you that they were detained in the Bryansk region. Military personnel from the group covering the state border of the Russian Federation took part in the operation. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Krasnogorsk, police colonel Maxim Myagkov, and his deputy, police lieutenant colonel Dmitry Novikov, helped identify the car in which the criminals fled after the shooting at Crocus. They, despite the fire spreading through the building, managed to break open the door to the server room. There they looked at recordings from CCTV cameras, after which they transmitted information to the operational headquarters, thanks to which they were able to establish the route of movement of the terrorists.

As a result of the terrorists' actions, according to the latest data, 143 people were killed and 372 were injured.

According to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, 90 people were discharged from hospitals, 208 patients were provided with outpatient care, while 74 people continue to receive treatment in hospitals of federal institutions, hospitals in the Moscow region and Moscow.

“Three of them remain in extremely serious condition - these are patients with severe gunshot wounds, as well as a combination of gunshot wounds and burns. The condition of 18 victims, including three children, remains serious. 33 people are in moderate condition. 20 people are preparing to be discharged in the coming days, as their condition has improved,” he emphasized.

Along with this, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, noted that very close work has been organized with the families of the victims by all relevant services and specialists, in particular, payments from the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow region have already begun.

At the same time, from today the Russian Red Cross began to provide assistance to victims, primarily children whose parents went missing, died or are being treated in hospital as a result of the tragedy.

“Yesterday the first meeting of a special commission took place, which determined measures of targeted urgent support for these situations - for all the first 33 families, a decision was made to allocate financial assistance now. Some support measures are prescribed in a proactive manner. If you need urgent help, you can contact the Russian Red Cross. Work with the lists and identifying people who need help continues. The second list of support recipients is already being formed,” said Pavel Savchuk, Chairman of the Russian Red Cross.

In total, RKK collected more than 1 billion 200 million rubles to provide assistance to the victims and families of the victims.
