Since midnight the day before yesterday, Germany began applying strict entry rules for arrivals from more than 20 countries, which were classified as high-risk areas of infection with the Coronavirus, due to the large increase in the number of cases of “Covid-19” disease in these countries.

Neighboring Czechs, Portugal, Spain and Egypt, in addition to the United States, are among these countries from which those coming from must submit a negative certificate for the Corona test before entering Germany.

According to the data issued by the Ministry of the Interior, the tests will be systematically examined at airports and ports. As for the borders with other countries in the European Union, where there are no border controls, the crossing will be randomly checked.

With the implementation of the new rules, there have become three classifications that require three rules for testing and quarantine, namely: "normal" risk areas, which are the countries or regions in which the rate of new infections per 100,000 people increases in seven days to a limit of 50 cases, and this applies now to all Nearly Europe, with the exception of some areas in Greece, Finland, Norway, Austria and Denmark, and the second classification relates to regions with a higher infection rate, and includes countries with higher numbers of infections compared to Germany, including countries where the rate is more than 200, and the third classification relates to areas of the Corona virus strains. The areas where highly contagious strains of the Corona virus have appeared, and this classification so far includes Britain, Ireland, South Africa and Brazil.

Those coming from "normal" danger spots must undergo a test to detect "Corona" within no more than 48 hours of their arrival, and they must be quarantined for 10 days.
