17 January 2021 The vice president of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Riccardo Riccardi, with responsibility for Health, regarding the region's vaccination plan and the news relating to the slowdown in supplies, specified: "From Tuesday 19 January the vaccination plan will continue only for those who plan to administer the second dose, while the vaccinations of those who undergo for the first time will be postponed until there is a guarantee on the delivery flows of the vaccines ".

Riccardi then explained that on Monday 18 January "the vaccination continues as scheduled, while those who are on the agenda for the first administration since Tuesday, about three thousand people belonging to the categories of the first priorities, will be contacted to establish a new date as soon as there is clear the picture from Rome. The agendas will be reopened for new requests from February ".

In the meantime, the meetings of the control room follow one another to organize the second phase.

"We are also working for the vaccination of over 80s and people with disabilities, which - Riccardi reiterates - we consider priority categories: the lines with the Health Departments are drawn, but it is clear that now every working hypothesis is conditioned by the vaccine delivery flows, not only as regards the new phase but also for the closure of the first ".
