Eva in Umeå was fined after four years in the same parking lot

The ticket stated that she had parked incorrectly.

She should be to the right of the parking sign, she was told.

But then Eva can only park in 90 centimeters of her parking space - and the width of her car is 200 centimeters.

It's the sign that's wrong, not Eva's car.

- I have not been able to find a narrow car that is only 90 centimeters wide.

Despite Eva calling the parking company, she received no change.

It was only when her tenant-owner association that owns the land called that the fine was thrown.

Now the parking sign will be moved one meter so that Eva can park without problems in her entire parking lot.
