Indonesia receives 1.2 million doses of Chinese anti-Corona vaccine

Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced that his country received the first shipment of Coronavirus vaccines from China, today, Sunday, as the government prepares to launch a mass vaccination program.

He added in a press briefing on the Internet that his country had received 1.2 million doses of the Chinese company Sinovac Biotec, which has been undergoing trials in Indonesia since last August.

He added that the government expects to receive another 1.8 million doses in early January.

The Indonesian president said that his country is also expected to receive shipments of raw materials this month to produce 15 million doses, and materials to produce another 30 million doses next month.
