The updated situation in Italy and in the world



Today's data on coronavirus in Italy updated by the ministry of health: 20,709 new cases, 684 deaths, 207,143 swabs were registered in the last 24 hours. The healed are 38,740. Yesterday there were 19,350 positives, 785 deaths and 180,000 swabs.



Today there are 32,454 hospitalized patients with symptoms in Italy, a decrease of 357 cases compared to yesterday.



In intensive care there are 3,616 (-47). 



In home isolation 725,160, 18,311 less than yesterday.



The total of the currently positive is 761,230 equal to a decrease of 18,715 units compared to yesterday.



Between discharged and recovered there are 823,335 people, an increase of 38,740 units.



There are 684 deaths in the last 24 hours for a national total of 57,045.



The total cases are 1,641,610 (+20,709).



The swabs in the last 24 hours were 207,143 for a total of 22,334,342.

In Campania 1,842 cases, positive-swab ratio below 10%


1,842 new coronavirus cases emerged in Campania in the last 24 hours from the analysis of 19,759 swabs.

The percentage of positive swabs out of the total number of processed swabs drops below 10% and is equal to 9.3%.

Of the 1,842 new positives, 185 are symptomatic and 1,657 are asymptomatic.

The total of positives in Campania since the beginning of the emergency is 158,274, while the total swabs examined are 1,615,159.

There are 43 new deaths included in today's bulletin by the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, which specifies that 22 deaths occurred in the last 48 hours and 21 occurred previously but recorded yesterday.

There are 2,183 new healed: the total healed is 54,015.



Lazio 1,791 cases and 45 deaths


Today in Lazio "on over 24 thousand swabs (-2,095) there are 1,791 positive cases (+122), 45 deaths (-24) and 780 cured. The ratio between positives and swabs is 7% . The slowdown trend is confirmed and deaths are decreasing ".

This was underlined by the councilor for health and social and health integration of the Lazio Region, Alessio D'Amato, in the bulletin at the end of today's videoconference of the regional task force for Covid-19 with the general directors of the ASL and hospitals, university polyclinics and Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital.



In Emilia Romagna 1,569 new cases and 69 deaths


Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 126,110 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 1,569 more than yesterday, out of a total of 19,676 swabs performed in last 24 hours.

The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is therefore 8%, down from 8.7% yesterday.



Piedmont, 1,568 new cases and 57 deaths


Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region reported 1,568 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 in the region, equal to 8.8% of the 17,897 swabs performed.

There are 382 people admitted to intensive care (+5 compared to yesterday);

the patients not in intensive care are 4596 (- 56 compared to yesterday).

There are 65,909 people in home isolation.

There are also 57 deaths of people positive for the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 7 occurred today (the cumulative updated data communicated daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently ascertained as deaths Covid).



In Friuli Venezia Giulia 812 new cases, 7820 swabs and 26 deaths


Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 812 new infections have been detected (10.38 percent of the 7,820 swabs performed) and 26 deaths from Covid-19.

This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The people who tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted in all to 32,198, of which: 7,542 in Trieste, 14,203 in Udine, 6,120 in Pordenone and 3,947 in Gorizia, to which 386 people from outside the region are added.

The current cases of infection are 15,095.

The number of patients being treated in intensive care has dropped to 58 and 652 are hospitalized in other wards.

The deaths totaled 889, with the following territorial subdivision: 311 in Trieste, 345 in Udine, 187 in Pordenone and 46 in Gorizia.

The totally healed are 16,214, the clinically healed 402 and the people in isolation 13,983.



Valle d'Aosta, 5 deaths and still 1206 positive cases, - 59 compared to yesterday


Five deaths, which bring the overall total to 322, and 1206 current positive cases, -59 compared to yesterday, of which 122 still hospitalized, 13 in intensive care, and 1071 in home isolation.

These are the data of the Coronavirus emergency in Valle d'Aosta, contained in the health update bulletin of the Region.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total positive cases are 6577, + 42, the healed 5049, + 96, the swabs carried out to date 61,373, + 460.



In Tuscany 776 new cases and 45 deaths


In Tuscany, there are 104,875 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 776 more than yesterday (421 identified in the course of tracing and 355 from screening activities).

New cases are 0.7% more than the previous day's total.

The average age of the 776 cases today is around 48 years (15% are under 20, 19% between 20 and 39, 36% between 40 and 59, 19% between 60 and 79, 11% are 80 or older).

The healed grew by 5.6% and reached 64,632 (61.6% of total cases).

The swabs performed reached 1,591,558, 13,549 more than yesterday, of which 5.7% positive.

On the other hand, 4,461 subjects tested today (excluding the control swabs), of which 17.4% were positive.

To these are added the 3,911 rapid antigenic swabs performed today.

The currently positive are 37,525 today, -6.7% compared to yesterday.

There are 1,785 hospitalized (45 fewer than yesterday), of which 271 in intensive care (4 more).

Today there are 45 new deaths: 25 men and 20 women with an average age of 81.6 years.



In Sardinia 445 new cases and 4 deaths


A total of 22,340 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.

In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 445 new cases are recorded, 241 detected through screening activities and 204 from suspected diagnosis.

There were 4 deaths (453 in all).

The victims: two men and a woman residing in the Metroplitana city of Cagliari, respectively 79, 70 and 87 years old, and a 94 year old woman residing in the province of Southern Sardinia.

In total, 379,431 swabs were performed with an increase of 3,297 tests.
