Berlin / Potsdam (dpa / bb) - In Berlin and Brandenburg it gets freezing cold, especially at night.

As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Tuesday morning, at maximum temperatures of up to five degrees during the day it initially remains covered, but dry.

There is only occasional drizzle or snow.

In the course of the day it loosens up starting in Niederlausitz.

In the night the clouds over Berlin and Brandenburg then completely dissolve.

Especially near the ground, frost and slippery conditions can occur at temperatures of up to minus eight degrees.
