This future cabinet is a bit the anti-Trump administration with first Anthony Blinken, 48, who becomes Secretary of State.

Blinken is perfectly French-speaking and he already knows this crucial position.

Under Barack Obama, he was the right-hand man of the head of diplomacy.

His appointment marks a break with Donald Trump's isolationism because Blinken is a clear supporter of multilateralism with traditional allies of the United States.

In this firm we also note the return of a face well known internationally: that of John Kerry.

Barack Obama's former secretary of state becomes Joe Biden's special climate envoy.

Biden who promised to return from day one to the Paris Agreement on the environment.

And then an African-American will become one of the faces of this new American administration: Linda Thomas-Greenfield, former Assistant Secretary of State for Africa is appointed United States Ambassador to the UN.

At the head of national intelligence, Avril Heines, 51 years old.

She is the first woman appointed to this post.

Finally, another strong symbol after four years of a fiercely anti-immigration policy Alejandro Mayorkas, a naturalized Latin immigrant, is appointed head of the Department of Internal Security.

In short, times are changing, comments on Twitter a close advisor to Joe Biden.
