Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah reduce traffic fines by 50% on the occasion of National Day

Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah Police announced a 50% reduction in traffic fines, on the occasion of the 49th National Day of the state.

In detail, the Commander in Chief of Ajman Police, Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, decided to reduce the value of traffic violations by 50%, and to cancel the reservation of vehicles and traffic points, starting from the second of next December for a month, coinciding with the state's celebrations of the 49th National Day, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council.

The police chief stated that the reduction decision applies to all traffic violations committed in the Emirate of Ajman, before the date of November 23, with the exception of a violation of driving a vehicle in a way that endangers his life or the lives of others or their safety or security, and the violation of making changes to the vehicle's engine or base (chassis) without Licensing, and violating precautionary measures, instructions and duties imposed to limit the spread of the new Corona virus issued in accordance with the Public Prosecutor's Resolution No. 38 of 2020, as amended by Resolution No. 54.

He said that the reduction decision came to facilitate the payment of violators to reduce the severity of the economic and social impacts that the world is witnessing during this period, and the Ajman Police's keenness to enhance the continuity of development in various fields.

In addition, the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police decided to reduce traffic violations by 50%, starting from 2 to 8 December next, on the occasion of the National Day, and based on the keenness of Ras Al Khaimah Police to adopt initiatives that would make customers happy and reduce burdens on members of society.

The Ras Al Khaimah Police explained that this reduction greatly contributes to facilitating the owners of violating vehicles, who incur large sums of money due to the accumulated violations of regularization of their status, and the payment of the value of the violations after granting them the discount granted by the Ras Al Khaimah Police.

She confirmed that the discount includes all traffic fines, the allowance for seizing vehicles in Ras al-Khaimah, and on various car number plates, calling on drivers who have had violations to take advantage of the discount and pay the fines accumulated on them.
