Trial. The prosecutor of the 'Maje case' maintains his accusation against the lovers and addresses the jury: "I ask you to give yours to the two defendants"
The popular jury has declared
María Jesús Moreno
and
Salvador Rodrigo
guilty of a crime of murder for the stabbing to death of her husband, Antonio Navarro, in a garage on Calamocha street in Valencia, in the Patraix neighborhood.
The nine members of the jury announced their verdict at 8:00 p.m. this afternoon in the Tirant Lo Blanch Room of the City of Justice of Valencia, in the presence of the two defendants, the president of the court, the representatives of the accusations and the defenses and some relatives of those who were lovers and are now declared complicit murderers.
The verdict considers that
Maje
and
Salva
agreed and planned the crime that he later executed, hiding in the garage of the house that the widow shared with her husband.
It was on August 16, 2017 and, according to the prosecutor's account, it was she who provided Salva with the keys and information about the victim's schedules so that her lover could carry out the criminal action.
