Yesterday, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Keela, announced that 504 new cases of the new Corona virus had been recorded, and eight deaths during the past 24 hours.

Al-Kailah said in a statement that the Gaza Strip recorded the highest number of new injuries, with 178 injuries.

The minister added that 39 patients are lying "in intensive care rooms, including six on artificial respirators."

The Minister of Health, Mai al-Kailah, added that the new infections were distributed in the governorates according to the following: Hebron (37), Nablus (82), Bethlehem (49), Qalqilya (7), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (35), Jenin (34), Jericho and Al-Aghwar ( 11), Salfit (33), Tulkarm (23), Tubas (3), the Gaza Strip (178), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (12), indicating that 4,228 examinations were performed.

The minister explained that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine amounted to 88.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.7%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.

The database of the Palestinian Ministry of Health shows that the total number of Coronavirus infections among Palestinians, since the outbreak of the pandemic last March, has reached 64,741, of which 57,234 have recovered, and 553 have died.
