The Milan team continued its wonderful start in the European Football League, after achieving a precious 3-0 victory over Sparta Prague on Thursday, in the second round of the Group Eight matches of the group stage in the continental competition, which also witnessed the French Lille tie 2-2 with its guest Celtic Scotsman.

Milan rose to 6 points at the top, two points ahead of its closest chasers, Lille, while Celtic finished third with one point, and Sparta Prague were trailed below the standings without points.

In the tenth group, Tottenham suffered a surprise defeat by their Belgian host Antwerp with a clean goal scored by Lior Rifailov (29).

In the same group, Austrian Lusk Linz beat Bulgarian Ludogoritz 4-3.

Antwerp raised its score to 6 points to top the group standings, and Tottenham stuck at 3 points in second place, on goal difference over third-placed Linz, while Ludogorets ranks last without a score of points.

In Group 11, Wolversberger climbed to the top by sweeping Feyenoord Rotterdam 4-1, while a goalless draw prevailed over the Russian CSKA Moscow match with Dynamo Zagreb.

Wolversberger leads the group with 4 points, CSKA Moscow ranks second with two points, on goal difference from Dynamo Zagreb, who is third, while Feyenoord is last with one point.

Hoffenheim, Germany, strengthened its lead in Group 12, beating Belgium's Ghent 4-1, while Red Star Belgrade swept Serbian guests, Slovan Liberec, 5-1.
