In the last 24 hours, the new cases of Coronavirus in Italy are 19,644, yesterday they were 19,143.

This is what the usual bulletin of the Ministry of Health reports.

Deaths are also on the rise, reaching 151 against 91 the previous day.

In the last 24 hours, 177,669 swabs were carried out on the national territory, for a total of 14,492,122 since the beginning of the emergency.

The current positives grow by 17,180 bringing the total number to 203,182, while the total cases since the beginning of the pandemic today touch 504,509.

The healed rise to 264,117 (+2,309).

There are 11,287 patients hospitalized with symptoms, of which 1,128 are housed in intensive care.

The people who are currently in home isolation, however, are 190,767.

The regions with the greatest positive growth are Lombardy (4,956), Veneto (1,729), Campania (1,718), Lazio (1,687) and Piedmont (1,548).

"We have

positives throughout the region, 2,306 in Milan and its province, 197 hospitalized and 213 in intensive care. The numbers are large: hospitalized patients are decreasing, intensive care is increasing. We have a very large number of tampons, we are almost 33 thousand today".

This was stated by the Councilor for Welfare of the Lombardy Region, Giulio Gallera.

"Out of about 23 thousand swabs today there are

cases", announces the Regional Health Councilor, Alessio D'Amato.

Yesterday the new positives were 1389 out of over 22 thousand swabs performed.

As for the deaths, today there are 9 while the recovered are 94. In Lazio there are 21,405 cases currently positive for Covid-19, 1,438 hospitalized, in addition to 141 patients in intensive care, and 19,826 in home isolation.

The healed reached 10,202, the deaths to 1,090 and the total number of cases examined was 32,697. 

There are 12 deaths of people positive for the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 1 occurred today.

The total is now 4,248 deaths tested positive for the virus, 695 Alessandria, 259 Asti, 220 Biella, 408 Cuneo, 398 Novara, 1863 Turin, 231 Vercelli, 133 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 41 residents outside the region, but died in Piedmont .

The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont are 53,248 (+

compared to yesterday) of which 799 (52%) are asymptomatic.

The 1,548 cases are 491 screening cases, 419 case contacts, 638 with ongoing investigation, 159 in RSA and social welfare structures, 177 in the school environment, 1212 among the general population and 3 imported.
