“49 patients with coronavirus have died in Moscow,” the capital's operational headquarters said in a statement.
The previous day, 51 deaths were reported.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the opening of two more reserve hospitals for patients with COVID-19 in the capital.
