The 28-year-old is said to have stolen from elderly people around the country for several months.

The man is said to have sought out and entered older people's homes where he stole cash, jewelery and mobile phones, among other things.

On several occasions, he also stole the victims' credit cards, which he then used to withdraw several thousand kronor.

The man must have pledged jewelery at various pawnshops.

In total, the man must have exposed 30 victims.

According to the verdict, he must have admitted all the crimes and explained that he targeted precisely older people as they do not have the same opportunity to resist.

The perpetrator must have used drugs during the time the crimes were committed and according to him, the stolen goods must have gone to the financing of the abuse.

Committed the crimes with another

The 28-year-old committed all crimes together with another person, something he admitted.

However, he does not want to name that person.

The man is sentenced to three years in prison for aggravated fraud, aggravated theft, attempted aggravated theft and attempted aggravated fraud.

He is also convicted of drug offenses, minor drug offenses, illegal driving and drunk driving.
