The US Congress suspends its sessions after injuries in Corona among its members

The US Senate suspended its sessions in its entirety for two weeks after at least three of its members were infected with the Corona virus.

The leader of the Republican majority in the Senate, Senator Mitch McConnell, said today that the House Judiciary Committee should at the same time continue hearings for US Supreme Court candidate Amy Barrett.

Democrats criticized McConnell's decision.

On Friday, it was announced that three senators - Republicans Mike Lee, Thom Tillis and Ron Johnson - had contracted the Corona virus.

Lee and Telles are both members of the Council's Judicial Committee.

President Donald Trump and the Republicans in the Senate are seeking to approve and confirm Amy Barrett's assumption of office before the presidential election on November 3.

With Barrett appointed, the Conservatives get a dominant majority of six to three votes on the Supreme Court, which frequently sets the course for American society on issues such as immigration, healthcare and the right to abortion.

Democrats are demanding that only the winner of the presidential election decide who will be the deceased Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

And criticized the Democratic members of the Judicial Committee today, Saturday, the continuation of work, indicating that it will endanger the health of those in contact
