Guest of Michel Denisot in "Icons" on Saturday, JoeyStarr responded to this call and denounced the strategy of the government, which "does not take its responsibilities" in the current crisis.

And the 52-year-old artist has particularly observed the current coronavirus crisis, which has disrupted artistic life like other sectors of the economy and society.

On Europe 1, the rapper reacted to recent controversial statements by Nicolas Bedos, who called on social networks not to respect the barrier measures.

JoeyStarr says he joins the message from the actor and director.

On Instagram, the latter charges "the givers of lessons" and advocates recklessness in the face of the virus, "even if it means dying".

"Me, I am for the 'live', 'live despite everything'", answers the rapper.

"I quite agree with him."

The government "behind in everything"

The artist also gave his vision of the current situation: "We do not really know. There are figures, but it is not very readable, all that", he estimated, while the period is marked by a rebound of the Covid-19 at the national level.

Above all, the artist points to the fact that the population has been "infantilized" by the leaders since the start of the crisis.

"What seems more and more obvious to me is that the government is not taking its responsibilities. It is behind on masks and everything. When we know today that there are people who had already the Covid-19 last February ... "
