The autopsy of a black man in his twenties who died after being shot by a police officer in Los Angeles (LA) in the United States in August showed that the man was shot 16 times, CNN Broadcast and AP reported on the 3rd (local time).

Official autopsy in the Los Angeles coroner's office revealed that the dead, 29, were shot in 16 places, including the head, chest, and back.

The coroner's office identified the death as multiple gunshot wounds, deciding that at least four bullets hitting the heart, lungs, liver, and left kidney caused a direct life-threatening injury.

This autopsy took place on the 2nd of last month, but at the order of the LA County Sheriff's Office, the results were released this time after being held for about a month for security reasons.

CNN points out that the results of the autopsy confirm that Kiji was killed by police.

However, the AP reported that it was never known whether Keeji was lying prostrate when he was shot.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, Keeji was shot and killed by two deputy sheriffs in the Sheriff's office on August 31 in Westmont, near Los Angeles.

Deputy sheriffs arrested Kiji, who was passing through the street on a bicycle, claiming that he violated traffic laws, and Kiji, who abandoned the bicycle and ran away, punched the face of one of the following deputy sheriffs.

Kiji, who was running away from the deputy sheriff's arrest, dropped a package of clothes, which contained a semi-automatic pistol, and when Kiji tried to pick it up, the deputy sheriff shot at Kiji.

The LA County Attorney's Office is investigating whether these deputy sheriffs have violated criminal law.

After the death of Keeji in Los Angeles, protests were held, shouting'Black lives are also precious'.
