- We would much rather be out and curb more serious crimes.

Now it is the case that we have to spend an enormous amount of time on this issue, says Anders Modén, municipal police in Leksand and Rättvik, who participated in the conference on disturbing music from cars.

The problem is increasing in Dalarna.

During two summer months this year, 220 calls were made to the police with reports of loud disturbing music from vehicles at night, just from Dalarna.

And the dark figure is large, research shows that only 10 percent of those who are disturbed report to the police.

For Fredrik Ollén (M), the figures are no surprise, he has worked for a long time with the issues and to bring it up to the highest decision-making level.

- I would say that we have done everything we can now, he says and outlines measures such as getting the police to prioritize the disruptive music to parking bans in vulnerable areas and the appeal to young people to take into account.

- The response is that it only increases and that many people are exposed to great suffering.
