Japan is preparing to gradually lift travel warnings for some countries

Yesterday, a news report said that Japan is scheduled to gradually lift its travel warnings to some countries, starting next October, according to the Japanese newspaper "Nikkei".

And Bloomberg News reported that the new measure comes as Japan hopes that this will encourage other countries in turn to reduce the warnings they issued regarding the travel of their citizens to Japan.

The Japanese government plans to include more than 10 candidate countries with low infection rates, such as New Zealand, Australia and Vietnam.

Destination countries will determine whether or not travel is possible.

On the other hand, the latest Johns Hopkins University statistics issued yesterday indicated that the total number of HIV infections in Japan increased to 82,186 cases, while the deaths reached 1549 cases.
