Al-Azhar Mosque called on the Egyptian people to stand against the attempts to destabilize the country, in conjunction with the continuing demonstrations calling for the departure of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, where 3 citizens were killed by their wrestling.

Al-Azhar said in a statement that it closely followed the destructive movements aimed at destabilizing and disturbing the public order, which seek to undermine Egypt's security, spread chaos, and disrupt the wheel of development and investment.

He emphasized that what is being accomplished in terms of various development projects on the ground is a clear indication of Egypt's march towards the right direction that will bear fruit in the near future, God willing, on all levels.

Al-Azhar praised the people's awareness of missing out on all those planning to destabilize, stressing their confidence in the state's ability to address all its issues internally in a manner that achieves the citizen's interests, relieves his burdens and takes into account his needs.

Al-Azhar called on the people to stand united behind the homeland and lead it in the face of calls for instability and disturbance of public order, and to miss the opportunity for those it called the owners of the tendentious foreign agendas.

Sisi leave

On Friday, demonstrations took place in various regions, for the sixth consecutive day, to condemn the deteriorating economic conditions and the demolition of homes.

In the governorates of Giza, Minya, Qena, Luxor, Fayoum, Damietta and Ismailia, the demonstrators chanted slogans calling for the departure of Sisi, confirming the legitimacy of their demands.

Activists and media figures, Egyptian opposition figures, said that 3 protesters were killed, Friday, during the police dispersal of a nightly demonstration against the President of the Republic, in Giza Governorate, west of Cairo, and the authorities did not confirm or deny this immediately.

And from Spain, where he lives, the contractor, Muhammad Ali, said in a tweet on his Twitter account, "Despite the peaceful demonstrations, the Interior Ministry killed 3 in (the city) of Ayat."

The opposition station "Watan", which broadcasts from abroad, has published the names of the three dead.

The security forces also arrested dozens of demonstrators in several governorates.

The right to demonstrate

For its part, human rights organizations called on the Egyptian authorities to respect the right to demonstrate, and to stop attacks on peaceful demonstrations.

3 Egyptian organizations said, in a joint statement, that they monitored 400 cases of arbitrary detention of citizens, including children, some of whom were brought before the State Security Prosecution, on charges of demonstrating without a permit.

These organizations, which signed the statement, indicated that 16 citizens were summoned to the police department in Port Said governorate, and then referred to the prosecution.

She explained that the security services fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at some peaceful gatherings.

The organizations, namely: Adalah for Human Rights, Al Shehab Center for Human Rights, Salam International Organization for the Protection of Human Rights, demanded the immediate release of all detainees.

And issued the hashtag (hashtag) "# Friday_ anger_ September 25," and "# Leave O_ Sisi," the list of the most popular in the country on the communication sites, as Egyptians interacted with him with tens of thousands of tweets.
