According to Al-Dray, the new devices are more accurate and professional than traditional CPR, and the CPR period is shortened to less than a minute and the survival rates are increased.

The engineer of medical equipment at the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Aboud, said that the new "Lucas 3" devices have already been used to save the lives of many heart and respiratory arrest patients, as they automatically handle the chest compressions without the need for the paramedic effort. , Indicating that the device presses the patient’s chest with a fixed number and depth, according to the instructions of the World Health Organization, so that each cycle is 30 compressions and two puffs, and the device provides the process of compressing the chest in two stages, the first at intervals, and the second continuous.

Al-Aboud explained that the Foundation has 15 devices currently in the field, distributed over specialized first aid for heart and respiratory patients, to cover various places, pointing to the receipt of 50 devices, which will raise the number of devices to 65 CPR devices, and they will be distributed to cover the largest number of emergency points.
