The race against cancer La Strasbourgeoise will be a walk

La Strasbourgeoise is a race organized as part of an information and awareness campaign against breast cancer.

The pink wave will go slower than expected on Sunday, October 4.

The Strasbourg organizers announced on Monday that the 5 km race was canceled.

A decision taken "following a meeting" with in particular the Prefecture and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) which certainly reminded them of the health situation in Bas-Rhin.

The department has been classified as an “active circulation zone” for covid-19 since early September.

As a result, "the event will be transformed into a walk and all the participating runners will automatically be switched to it," the organizers wrote in a statement.

The number of places remains limited to 5,000 and the registration conditions do not change: 12 euros including 5 donated to the fight against breast cancer.
