The iconic Irish pubs have reopened!
No more having to order food for a pint.
It's been six months since the pubs closed their doors.
Report in one of the country pubs in the small village of Rathmolyon, where the bars represent the heart of the community.

The first pints
since closing
six months ago.

I'm happy, and a little stressed!
The Harnan's, thatched roof and wooden interior, is run by John Harnan.
“
There is the excitement of coming back here, of welcoming people after work and that they leave late… What is annoying is that we had to remove the stools near the counter.
It's a shame because everyone likes to sit at the counter
!
"
Deep in the green velvet sofa, Patch, the village mechanic, is one of the earliest income.
“
We all missed it
,” he says.
Being able to drink shots, see friends, chat… We do that two or three times a week.
"
Some regulars, retired, come to the pub to see people, go out.
Some are seeing each other for the first time since confinement.
But the joy of seeing each other again, after several months, does not erase the concerns of the young owner John Hanran: “
I am afraid that we have a cluster here.
If the customers catch it, it will be our fault.
And then, I hope we can stay open.
The first two weeks, it's going to be fine, but it's after that we'll know if we survive or not.
"
He hopes to be able to organize traditional music concerts soon.
There, he said, it will be the real return to normal.
