“But throughout 2021, we must be able to reduce the (incidence) numbers if we approach the problem on a global scale,” said Gates.
He noted that "technologies for the development of vaccines were already available, funding was received, and companies have allocated their best specialists."
“Therefore, I am optimistic, this will not last forever,” he added.
Earlier, Gates warned that in the coming decades, the world will face a global environmental crisis related to climate change, the consequences of which will be more serious compared to the COVID-19 pandemic.
