A US judge stops the ban on the WeChat application from taking effect in the United States
A California judge issued a court order preventing President Donald Trump's administration from banning the Chinese-based messaging app WeChat in the United States.
The judge attributed his ruling to freedom of expression concerns.
It is estimated that the number of application users in the country does not exceed a few million, but the lawsuit was filed by users who said that the ban would violate their rights.
