It was already last summer that a decision was made to extend the culture night to a culture week, which we told about then.
- The alternative was to cancel, but it did not feel relevant because the people of Norrköping need culture more than ever and the cultural sector needs us more than ever, says Åsa-Karin Svensson, unit manager for culture, events and leisure.
The culture night has been arranged by Norrköping municipality for over 30 years and 35,000 - 50,000 people usually participate.
Culture Week takes place on 21-27 September.
There will be a lot of outdoor events, such as choir singing, dancing, cultural tip walks, martial arts and city walks.
