Foreign Ministry: "Can not apply for asylum at a Swedish embassy"

- The people are still in the embassy area, says Julia Eriksson Pogorzelska, press communicator at the Foreign Ministry's press service.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announces that it is not possible to apply for asylum at a Swedish embassy.

- If you want to seek asylum in Sweden and seek protection in Sweden, you must submit an application.

Either with the border police when traveling into Sweden or at an application unit at the Migration Board.

You cannot apply for asylum at a Swedish embassy.
