MiG-29 lifted over the Barents Sea because of the plane of the Norwegian Air Force

"To identify the air target and prevent violation of the state border of Russia, a MiG-29 fighter was taken into the air from the air defense forces of the Northern Fleet," RIA Novosti quotes the message of the Russian National Defense Control Center.

It is noted that the crew of the Russian fighter identified the Norwegian Air Force Falcon 20 radio-technical reconnaissance and electronic warfare aircraft and escorted it over the Barents Sea.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Su-27 fighter flew to intercept reconnaissance aircraft of the United States and Sweden over the Baltic Sea.
