In his address, Khamzaev noted that today the sale of non-alcoholic beer to minors in Russia is not regulated in any way.

At the same time, in his opinion, the regular consumption of this drink by children can cause addiction to the beer taste, which can further lead to an increased child's addiction to alcoholic beverages.

He also recalled that, according to current regulations, alcohol content of up to 0.5% is allowed in such drinks, and this can negatively affect the health of the child.

“In this regard, we ask you to support the expediency of amending the current legislation regarding the introduction of a ban on the sale of non-alcoholic beer and beer drinks to persons under 18 years of age,” the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, experts found out that in January - August 2020, the average bill for purchases in alcohol stores was 447 rubles.

This is 14% lower than in the same period last year.
