On the ground, investigators found dozens of cartridge cases. During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, three people were seriously injured in a shooting in Villeurbanne, near Lyon. According to Le Progrès, around 1 a.m., the Rhône firefighters were called to help three victims, targeted by a fleeing sniper, near a tobacco shop located on rue du 4 August.
The three injured are said to be two men and a young woman. They were hospitalized in serious condition. The vital prognosis of one of the victims was engaged in the night, according to the regional daily.
The Lyon judicial police were in charge of the investigation.
