"According to preliminary data, the driver of a Renault Sandero car, when driving from the Aramil village towards the Istok village, hit four children who were crossing the carriageway from right to left in the direction of the car," RIA Novosti quotes the agency.
Two girls aged 7 and 9 and two boys aged 4 and 14 were injured. They were hospitalized with craniocerebral injuries, bruises and abrasions.
It was previously established that all the children are relatives, they went to their grandmother.
At the wheel was a 58-year-old driver who, over six years, was brought to administrative responsibility 11 times for traffic violations, mainly for speeding.
On the fact of the incident, the prosecutor's office began to check.
Earlier, as a result of a collision of two cars on the highway in the Rostov region, one person died and six more were injured.
