When a farmer was out pushing bales in a field, for some reason it started to burn in the tractor. The farmer managed to get out of the tractor, but when the rescue service arrived at the scene, the vehicles were completely overheated.
- No one has been injured in the fire and it has not spread, says Hans Fransson, operations manager at Värend's rescue service.
As the vehicles cannot be rescued, they must burn up. Firefighters are instead concentrating on extinguishing the ground around.
