His Highness also ordered to send a shipment of similar medical and food aid to Nigeria, to help the medical staff to play its role fully, and to help those infected with the virus, in a clear confirmation of the UAE's solidarity with all brotherly and friendly countries, in crises that require concerted efforts to alleviate their effects.
The aid, which was transported from the warehouses of the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, included 14 tons of urgent medical materials and supplies to combat the emerging corona virus, and 20 tons of necessary food supplies needed, to contribute to supporting the two friendly peoples to overcome this global crisis.
The "International City for Humanitarian Services" is a primary hub for the relief efforts of various international humanitarian organizations in the region and the world, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, and various international organizations and programs based in the city to deliver aid to the needy around the world.
