The social services committee acted on information from the girl herself when it suspected that she risked getting married if she left the country. But the administrative court pointed out that there was a lack of concrete information and annulled the decision in the social welfare committee.

The Social Welfare Board was not satisfied with that but complained to the Court of Appeal. Which for the time being goes on the municipality's line and reintroduces the travel ban, but points out that it is a temporary decision while waiting for the social services committee to investigate the girl's situation in more detail.
