It was at four o'clock on Wednesday afternoon that a man in his 20s sought help from people who were staying outdoors next to a playground on Sturegatan. The man had been stabbed in the legs and knees and police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
- This incident has employed many police patrols and the investigation work is extensive and ongoing, says Stefan Wickberg, press spokesperson at the Police.
The man is said to have been stabbed outdoors and a number of witnesses have heard about the incident, many are said to have been at the place where the victim appeared, including children.
The incident is classified as aggravated assault, but no suspect had been detained late on Wednesday night.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
