With the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, the Fujairah Charitable Association sent 125 tons of foodstuffs to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, as part of the humanitarian aid bridge provided by the UAE to the Lebanese people, following the big explosion in the Beirut port.

The association’s board chairman, Saeed bin Muhammad al-Raqbani, said that the association’s initiative, which is implemented in coordination with the relevant authorities in the country, is part of the urgent humanitarian aid provided by a country to the Emirates for those affected by the brotherly Lebanese people from the Beirut port explosion in Lebanon.

Al-Raqbani added that this aid comes as a continuation of the UAE’s humanitarian, relief and development approach, its great interest in the repercussions of the humanitarian disaster that befell the brothers in Lebanon, its unlimited solidarity with the victims and the injured, and an expression of the pride and pride of the UAE and its leadership for Lebanon.

The Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors pointed out that these positions of support and support for the Lebanese people are not strange to the leadership in the UAE.
